Piano Lessons FAQ’s

These are some of the most frequently asked questions I receive from prospective parents.

What ages do you teach?

I teach students in kindergarten through high school.

Summer lessons?

Families who wish to schedule lessons around travel plans may sign up for as many or few lessons as they wish. These can be scheduled flexibly.

Digital piano recommendations?

A quality digital keyboard with weighted keys, such as the Yamaha P-125a or Casio PX-S1100 are good choices.

Purchase the matching furniture stand (sold separately or as a set). The free X stand that come with keyboards pose a safety risk for children (keyboard can be pushed off), and do not offer adequate height options for most students. When a student is seated at the piano, the wrist and elbow must be parallel to ensure proper alignment.
